Dogville’s backup center Fuzz Bear who is averaging 7.3 PPG and 8 RPG has something new for the defense. He will start to put up some three pointers. This year he is 1-for-4 on 3’s with 3 of the shots being half-court heaves. In his career he is 2-for-11 on three pointers. Fellow center on Pudleville Lambey has begun the three point revolution and is consistently making them. The Bumblegonian has heard rumblings that other players like Bee Bear and Mr. Dog could start shooting as well but for right now, they are still in-the-paint players. Dogville’s next game is on Tuesday at home against Pudle Bay.

Star PG White Doggey has re-signed with the Dogville after initially agreeing with Dog Nip but then changing and deciding to go back to the team that drafted him in 2012. The Bones agreed with White Doggey this morning to return to Dogville for 2 more years worth 340 Doggey Treats per year.  White Doggey, who averaged 32.3 PPG in 2018 and was the MVP, will be trying to keep going strong in 2019 on a Dogville team that made the second round in the playoffs and eliminated a very good Doo Nip in six games.  The Bones will try to bring back their team from 2018 and add some other players in trades and free agency.

Dogville Center Mr. Dog has been suspended for game 2 against Doo Nip and fined $25,000 for attempting to enter the stands and not leaving the court in a timely manner after getting ejected in the 4th quarter during game 1.

On April 19, the voting will begin for the ABA Awards but the results will not come out until April 22 so here at the Bumblegonian, we will make our picks on who will be this years winners.

In the 3rd round, Robin chooses C Lob Ster out of Dogville A&M. Lob is like Buttons Bear who players for Robin in the ABA. He can get rebounds and get a good bunch of starts throughout the season.

With the 4th pick, Luke chooses Pedro Penguin, a SG out of Sniff Bone University. Pedro could be a very good bench player like Brown Doggey or a switch player like Huckle.
